The only education department in the country that integrates architecture and urban planning

The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Chung Hwa University is the only department in the country that integrates the professional education of architecture and urban planning. In terms of the performance of the national examination, the total admission rate of architects is 14%, which is higher than the national average of 6.8%, providing a diversified way for employment or further studies after graduation.

The entire department has passed the IEET international certification. The department has more than 30 professional teachers who teach together, strengthen practical training through off-campus internships, and implement studio and teacher-apprentice group teaching, with independent planning and design and teamwork capabilities. The department also provides scholarships and exchange channels, organizes international work camps, overseas relocation teaching, sister school exchange students and dual degree programs, and encourages students to participate in international exchange activities.

The admission points "Type 1 Group" and "Type 2 Group" are just enrollment groups, hoping to attract high school students from different fields. Architectural Design Module (Five-year program)

Building Technology Module (Four-year program)

Urban Planning Module (Four-year program)

Cultivate urban planning technicians with a keen sense of observation, and combine the three-life concept of "ecology, life, and production" to create a suitable urban environment. Learn to work in large groups, cooperate in groups, and work together to complete large-scale environmental planning and design.

Master Program Degree

In response to the needs of senior architectural and planning technical talents, the research direction is on the topics of architectural and spatial design, smart city and disaster prevention, environmental and landscape planning, and innovative design. Combined with practical internships, courses can be recommended for full-semester internships, or design and planning  graduation thesis. .
